FAQ

Why is there a line through the date I want to book in a cake?

If you see a line through a date in the booking section of our site it is because that date is booked to capacity and we are unable to take any more orders for that date, we also do not take bookings for cakes on Sundays or Mondays this is because we are closed on weekends and cannot produce a fully finished cake from scratch in 1 business day.

Can you cater to specific dietary requirements and allergies?

At this moment in time we do not offer gluten free, dairy free, nut free or soy free cakes All cakes are made in premises in which nuts, gluten, eggs and dairy are used. Although every effort is taken to keep ingredients separate, cakes may contain traces of nuts, gluten, dairy and eggs.

We’re not a nut-free business.

Whilst our cake and cupcake bases, buttercream and drips do not contain nuts as ingredients, toppings used to decorate our products such as macarons, kinder products, ferrero rocher etc contain nuts. Our products are made in a facility where toppings and decorations containing nuts are also stored and prepared.

Nuts or traces of nuts may be present in our products

What is the difference between coffee and dessert size portions?

Coffee size portions are smaller than dessert size portions of cake. Typically, a small coffee portion is cut as a 1” x 1” serving while a dessert portion is 1” x 2”. This can change the size cake you need substantially.

Is delivery included in my order?

No, delivery is not included and comes at added cost.

Do you offer delivery?

Yes, when it comes to our cakes we can deliver the cake for you. Depending on the distance for delivery the fee will vary.

If you would like delivery this must be requested at the time of your inquiry or selected when booking online cakes, delivery fees will be calculated depending on the distance.

When will my order be delivered when ordering delivery?

Due to the volume and complexity of orders each day, we cannot guarantee delivery times, rather we guarantee it will be delivered on the day selected between the hours of 8am-3pm.

What happens if I miss my delivery?

We will attempt to contact the recipient to discuss options. If party is uncontactable, the item will be marked as abandoned (as each order if made fresh to order) and a re-delivery fee will apply to have the order re-delivered on the next available delivery date

How do I store a cake with buttercream icing?

Cakes with buttercream should be refrigerated, preferably in the box they were supplied in. Buttercream cakes are best enjoyed at room temperature, so I recommend taking your cake out of the fridge 1 hour prior to eating.

How do I store a cake with fondant icing?

Cakes with fondant icing should be stored in a cool dry place, preferably in the box they were supplied in. Fondant (the soft icing covering the cake) is not designed to be refrigerated. Refrigeration may cause colours to run/bleed. Please keep all cakes and figurines out of direct sunlight.
